Running Roots Farm is a small-scale, diversified farm nestled in the northern foothills of the Adirondack mountains. We farm a diversity of mushrooms, speciality garlic, and other vegetables using sustainable practices that restore and sustain our local ecosystems.
Our mission is to provide fresh, nutrient-dense mushrooms & vegetables for our local, North Country community year-round. We believe that the health benefits (and amazing textures & flavors!) of local mushrooms & veggies should be accessible to everyone.
What we offer
Year-round, we grow a diversity of mushroom varieties on certified organic oat hulls & pure hardwood sawdust. We never use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We are also certified wild mushroom foragers, and sustainably harvest wild mushrooms from our farm & forest in summer and fall.

- Saranac Lake Farmer’s Market (every Saturday, 9am – 1pm, May 18-Oct 12)
